When Dr. Mario Samaniego began developing a plan to build a fitness center in Alamogordo, his goal was to provide a level of quality and service that most residents were not accustomed to, but deserving of. The people of Alamogordo like nice things, and work hard at their jobs; Dr. Samaniego felt that they should have a facility as
nice as any big city.
As the project began to unfold, the size of the planned building grew from a 12,000 sq. foot facility into the 22,000 sq. foot facility we are in today
The permanent location on Indian Wells and Juniper houses a Day Spa, Hair Salon and the first ever Starbucks in Alamogordo.
The new location is a split-level facility complete with locker rooms, including hot tubs and saunas, childcare, juice bar, cardio theater and rooms for yoga, aerobics, and cycling. The new weight room alone is over 5000 sq. ft.
